Big News!!

Well, I think it is big news. Others may think it is not. But,...Jimmy pooped in the potty for the first time!! He was almost as excited as I was. In fact, he was so excited about it that he jumped up and proudly exclaimed that he made poo-poo in the potty. And then, while I was dumping his little toilet, he peed on the floor...right next to his potty. I couldn't be mad at him...I actually giggled.
So, that's my big news. Sorry it isn't more exciting.

It's official!

Well, not really. I also received the "Academic Excellence" award. I had the highest GPA for the entire program and both campuses. So, I guess that makes me the valedictorian for the 2007 Practical Nursing Program.

Well, today is the big day!

The day that I am pinned as an LPN. I can't believe that it is finally here! It has been a long year. And now it's over and I feel a little lost. Good thing I'm going back to school this semester, but I'm going to miss my girls. At least I have a class with two of my nursing friends. And, of course, I have phone numbers.
Hopefully, I will have some pictures of the big event to post tomorrow (or a day or two later).

Officially an LPN graduate

I passed my last LPN semester with a B. I am so happy and relieved. Now I have three weeks to do non-school things before I start my next semester. It's going to feel so weird not having clinicals or doing anything nurse-y.
Really tired now...I'll post more later (especially since I have the time now).

So close to being done...

I just took my last LPN test. I can't believe that that was my last test as an LPN student. Just one more big test to go and then I will be an LPN. It has been a long, long year filled with a variety of stresses, but it is almost done. And then I start all over again...oh boy!
I am now getting ready to do a group presentation so I will post more later.
