Oh, by the way...

check out the "Basic Instructions" link over there on the side. I am absolutely in love with this blog/comic strip! The author definitely has a weird sense of humor and a talent for drawing that sense of humor. Check it out...you might like it! =)

Well, it's (un)official!!

I just got my unofficial test results and I am an unofficial LPN!!! Yeah!!!

Other big news, Jimmy had his first nosebleed tonight. He wasn't paying attention to where he was running and ran into the back of my head (I was sitting on the floor)...his nose hit my hair clip and that was it. But, he's fine and promptly went back to running around like a crazy child.

Also, I think he might be following the footsteps of half of the family and getting into medicine. He is really fascinated by me taking Mom and Dad's blood pressures and loves to use my stethoscope to listen to my heartbeat and his. I am definitely going to buy him a child's (working) stethoscope and maybe the IPlay Doctor kit.

Okay, I guess that's about it. I will post more later!

The Big Day!!

Today was the day that I took my NCLEX exam. My brain is fried and I am praying that I did well. I only had 85 questions (that was the least amount of questions that I could get for this exam)...hopefully that was enough.
I'll post more later...I am exhausted from testing and driving. =)

All sorts of interestingly good news!

OK, I don't think interestingly is really a word, but, darn it, I like it!
Anyways, on to my news.
First~~I have finally received my Authorization to Test number and have set a date to take my NCLEX test. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...I will be taking my test on {drum roll, please}...Friday, September 21st at 12 pm in Columbia! Yes, that is only one short week away, but I have a very good plan that I am going to implement for that week. You see, I am going to study my butt off in every free moment I have...which, is actually quite alot. You see, on Tuesday I have a 3 hour and 40 minute break between my Chemistry lecture and my Chemistry lab. There is no point in going home because class is at the Grand Strand campus...a whole hour away from home! So, instead, I will be spending that 3 hours and 40 minutes studying for NCLEX. And then there is the couple of hours or so in between coming home from my Spanish class in Conway and my Statistics class in Georgetown on Monday and Wednesday. And since I don't have anything else that is due that week (I'm doing my homework--yes, you heard me right--now) and only one test that I can talk the teacher into giving me the following Tuesday, this plan should work out perfectly!
Second~~It is time to update everyone on my fall classes now that we have concluded week number 3. I will start with Chemistry II, a class that I don't need for anything but I really like the teacher--I had my first test last Tuesday (and for those counting, that was only three days into the class) and I made a 97 on it. {Please hold your applause until the end.} Spanish is next, also a class that I don't really need but I figured it would be very helpful--our first test was on this Monday (by the way, that was day number 4) and I made a 101 on it (91 on the actual test plus 10 bonus points). Class number three is Human Growth and Development, a class that I actually need for my BSN--I am taking this class on the internet so it is self-paced, but this was the week that we could take our first test; I took mine today and made a 94.7 (but I am debating the loss of two points on my essay question so it may go up....yes, I am that concerned about two points when I already have an A). So, for those who may be keeping score, that is 3 A's for 3 tests! {Applause!!!} The fourth class that I am taking is Statistics, another class I need for my BSN--we havent' taken a test in there yet (September 24) but I really feel like I am getting the class so far, so high hopes on that one!
Well, I guess that's it. For some reason, I feel like I had more to say, but I can't think of anything else. Munchkin is still working on potty training...he has the basic concept down but his timing is off. OK, I guess that's it. Go check my sister-in-laws blog...and make sure you read her comments section.
Good night, y'all!
