I know that it has been a while since I have last blogged (as it was so kindly pointed out to me by my darling sil). One would have thought that with two and a half weeks off from school, I should have found some time to blog. But, alas, I did not. With Jimmy and then me being sick the first week out of school, I didn't feel like doing much of anything. Then there was the week of vacation. And then I put off checking my email for another day or two after we got back because I knew it would take a while. Then school started up last Wednesday. It's amazing how fast two and a half weeks goes by when you want it to be slow. But, the point to this very long excuse is that I will be posting pictures from vacation sometime during the week (hopefully). I'm thinking about hooking Slide up to my page and doing it that way because there are way too many to actually post to a blog.
Until later this week...have a happy day! Happy Memorial Day!! Support our troops--remember our veterns!

WOO-HOO!!
I just got my grades and I am moving on to the next semester!! Like there was any real doubt. I made an 89 in my Nutrition class and an 87.5 in my Med/Surg III class. I totally rock!! We need to have an 80 in both classes to pass and move to the next semester. And I just found out that my three bestest friends in class passed too! Yay to all of us!

Just a little note
I really hate it when people talk crap about other people and try to ruin good reputations.
I say all this because one of my very bestest friends told me tonight that she had heard from someone else that I had cussed out my teacher yesterday. I wonder why people say things like this. I am racking my brain trying to figure out who would say this (she did tell me who told her and that that person said she heard it from someone else) and why.
There are very few people that I have cussed out and none of them have been a teacher or a boss. I believe that, when you start cussing someone, your intelligence drops because you can't think of anything better to say.
Anyways, that is really all I have to say tonight. I should have some good news to post tomorrow (hopefully).
Good night to all and have a happy day tomorrow!

I figured it out!!
I totally rock! I finally figured out the link section. Now everyone can check out my SIL's blog as well as her (and her friends) new scrapbooking blog. Both totally rock and everyone should check them out!! Of course, I think my SIL, my mother, and my husband are the only people who read this blog, so they already know about them.
If anyone is reading my blog that I don't actually know, please feel free to leave a comment. I would really appreciate it!

Oh Yeah...
I guess I should update everyone on my lovely little orchard. The two apple trees have sprouted leaves and look good. The rest still look like twigs. I decided to get rid of the cherry tree since it didn't look like it was doing anything but, when we pulled it out of the ground, we noticed that it had some new growth below the soil level. So, we decided to replant it and hope for the best.
The strawberries made it through the frost we had a couple of weeks ago and look pretty good. They aren't really big and haven't produced anything yet, but they look good.
I had also picked up some tomato plants, basil, oregano, parsley (both kinds), a bush cumcumber plant, a zucchini plant, and a 9 pack of jalapeno plants from Walmart. Shortly after I got them (but before I planted them), we had the frost. So I pulled them inside and had them on the porch until just last weekend when I planted them. Everything is looking good except for one of the oreganos (I bought two) and the cucumber. So I just might have a really nice garden this year. Keep your fingers crossed!

I am SOOO bad.
I can't believe that it has been an entire month since I lasted posted!! My public is probably in shock!
I guess the main reason that I haven't blogged anything in so long is because I have been so incredibly busy that I have barely had time to read my SIL blog (which totally rocks...if I can ever figure out how to link it to my page I will). And now I have just visited her new blog that she is doing with a group of friends. Also totally rocks! I know my SIL will now post a comment or send me an email and tell me how to link these pages to mine (hint, hint).
Anyways, this past month has been tough. Lots of school stuff going on. For a majority of the month of April, we had a test about every Monday (Monday tests really suck). So, between tests and clinicals, I have been one busy little bee. Then top that with two projects due less than a week apart...it's amazing that I haven't gone crazy from the stress!
But, alas, I am on my final week for this semester and then I am off for two and a half weeks! Woo-hoo! Of course I have to make it through my finals first. Thank God our Nutrition final was a take home test...I actually have a chance to make a really good grade on that one. Friday is my final for my other class. Believe me, I will be studying for it, especially since I didn't do so great on the last two tests (81 on one, 78 on the last one). At least my test average is decent (83.5).
And now an interesting little note from my last day of clinical (last Thursday). We had a patient that was having some bowel issues. First of all, she had a worm (yes, a worm). They found it when they were doing a colonoscopy. But, on Thursday, she needed to have an enema. And guess who her nurse decided should do the enema. Yep, that's right, me. The nurse and I get along and she felt that it would be a good learning experience for me. So nice of her to think of me. Anyways, no problems with the enema, except that it didn't help the patient. What a way to end clinicals!
So, enough of school...let's talk about the Munchkin!
Some things I would love to share about him~ first of all, he is way too smart; second of all, he is very much the trouble maker; and third, while being a troublemaker himself, he doesn't mind ratting out other trouble makers. Yes, that's right, my son is a tattle-tale. I saw it first hand when Tom was here for the weekend. Whenever Tom would rough him up (you know, tickle him) and he didn't want anything to do with that, he would look at me and point to Daddy and have this funny little look on his face like, "Well, do something about it Mommy." It was so cute! Ms. Trish and Ms. Rachel tell me he is like this at daycare too.
So, now for a list of words Jimmy can say (yes, I actually made a list of all the words he can say): What that?~ Give me bite.~ Bite (with the emphasis on the "ie")~ Star~ Car~ Ball~ Book~ Read me~ Love you (he doesn't say this one much, but, when he does, it melts your heart)~ Know what~ Hi~ Bye~ Tissue~ Cat~ Bird~ Dog~ Pup-pup~ Red~ Purple~ Yellow~ White~ Orange~ Blue~ Green~ Black~ Pink~ Brown~ Cookie~ Please (sounds more like pees)~ Peepee~ Thank you~ Bread~ Nemo~ Mermaid~ Crab~ Zebra~ Bee~ Bear~ Horse~ Pig~ Lion~ Tiger~ Rabbit~ Fish~ Goat (emphasis on the Go part)~ Butterfly (emphasis on the butter part more than the fly)~ Frog~ Duck~ Goose (emphasis on the Goo)~ Chicken~ Sheep~ Fox~ Owl~ One~ Two~ Three~ Four~ Eight~ Hot Dogs~ Carrots~ Outside~ Tree~ Grandma~ Nana (Ms. Rachel started this one when referring to Grandma)~ Pa-Pa~ Coco~ Sissy (the dog next door)~ Mia (the dog from up the road)~ and of course Mama and Daddy
I am sure that is not everything but I can't really remember anymore. The animals are thanks to a book that Oma gave him for Christmas. The colors he learned from me and daycare.
Well, I guess that's enough bragging and complaining. I hope everyone enjoys. Hopefully, I will be posting again shortly with some good news. Sorry there are no pictures, but the battery in my camera is dead and I haven't replaced it yet. I really thought it was the rechargeable battery, but obviously it wasn't.
Have a Happy Day!!
